I made gulab jamuns! I got this recipe from Aunty Renuka, a very nice aunty who, among other things, is an awesome cook. Ingredients: 1 cup self rising flour 3 cops milk powder heavy whipping cream that makes 80-90 balls 1) mix ingredients for tight dough 2) make into balls 3) deep fry in low heat Syrup: Ingredients: 2 cups sugar 4 cups water cardimum/saffron (optional) 1) boil sugar water 2) blot oil from balls 3) put balls in syrup Filling Ingredients: chopped cashews, raisins, apricots, pistachios too.
